Pride and Democracy

June is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender/Transexual, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual/Allies+ (LGBTQIA+) Pride Month! Just as we declare in our advocacy for reproductive justice that full rights to our bodies are a requirement of true democracy, we advocate for queer liberation by declaring that full rights to our identity are fundamental to real democracy. Queer Americans living their truth are an unimpeachable part of this country's promise to be by the people and for the people.
